The southwest monsoon brought an average rainfall of 213.4 mm in the month of June in Karnataka, a met department official said on Friday.
The total rainfall recorded for the month of June in Bengaluru city was 85.3 mm, he said.
The southwest monsoon stretches from June 1 to September 30.

The maximum temperature in Bengaluru on Friday would hover around 30 degrees Celsius, the official added.
The city experienced only traces of rainfall on Thursday.
Relative humidity stood at 88 percent on Thursday.
On Thursday, Bengaluru recorded a maximum temperature of 29.7 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was 20.4 degrees Celsius.
