Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived here on Tuesday to take part in the ongoing Global Ayurveda Festival.
Governor P. Sathasivam, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and senior BJP leaders welcomed Modi at the international airport. He will later fly to Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu.
