The Assam Rifles on Monday seized narcotics at a checkpost at Khudengthabi near the Moreh border town in Manipur.
The drugs were being smuggled from Myanmar, an Assam Rifles statement said. A drug trafficker identified as Mohammad Elas Khan of Mayang Imphal in Imphal West district was arrested.
The narcotics were packed in 16 boxes.
