Northern Army Commander reviews security along LoC

Northern Army Commander, Lieutenant General Ranbir Singh on Monday visited forward positions along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Rajouri districts to review preparedness of deployed soldiers.

A statement issued by the Udhampur-headquartered Northern Command said: "Northern Army Commander visited troops in forward areas along LoC in Rajouri and Jammu districts.

"Lieutenant general, Ranbir Singh reviewed the security situation and operational preparedness of deployed troops.

"The Army Commander complimented troops for their selfless devotion and a high morale."

Lieutenant General Ranbir Singh recently visited forward positions on the LoC in the Valley. He also reviewed the security situation in hinterland.
