Police recover body in Sopore

Police on Wednesday recovered a partially decomposed body in Jammu and Kashmir's Sopore area.

Police said they recovered the body from a stream after the locals saw it floating.

Police said they were ascertaining whether the victim was a militant as a magazine pouch was found tied to the body.

"Scientific techniques including DNA tests will be used if the need arises," a police officer said.
