Six dead in China fire

Six people were killed when a fire broke out at a residential building in China's Liaoning province early on Thursday.

The fire engulfed the corridor of a seven-story building in Shenyang city around 2 a.m., Xinhua news agency reported.

Rescuers rushed to the site and extinguished the fire. Police are yet to ascertain the main reason behind the flames.
