India's Kush Kumar defeated N.G. Eain Yow of Malaysia 11-6, 11-13, 11-9, 11-8 to enter the final of the Men's singles squash in the second Asian Youth Games here Sunday.

The Indian Squash Academy (Chennai) trainee was delighted with his performance and said he will certainly give it his best shot in the final Monday to win a gold medal for his country.

Eain Yow, after his loss, said: "I still concentrated on the match, and can master my rhythm, but my stamina drained rapidly. My opponent runs so fast, makes shots fast too, and I have to try my best to reach for the ball. That makes me exhausted."

Earlier, Vijay Kumar Meena lost in the quarterfinals in a five-set encounter to Yuen Tsun Hei from Hong Kong.
