It may no longer make the best cars, but you can't fault the company brass for lack of planning. American car maker Ford had obviously anticipated the kind of interest the unveiling of its iconic Mustang would generate in India. The company presented its current line-up of cars and showcased the Mustang, to be launched in India later this year, at an event in New Delhi. Once the management address to the media was over, over-enthusiastic journalists and camera crew scrambled on to the stage, hoping to click pictures with the Mustang. The organisers had to call a team of bouncers, which was on standby, to the stage so that no one came close to the pony car.
