Dais tactics?

Stumped for a suitable response to the news that Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar had refused to share the dais with Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi in the election campaign for the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly polls, Congress spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi said, "What you might call not sharing the dais, are matters of logistics, these are personal positions of individuals or parties. There is no such thing in terms of policy decision and I am not aware of anything which suggests this." Apparently, while Pawar is not agreeable to sharing the dais with the Gandhi scion, he has no problems with Congress President Sonia Gandhi. Incidentally, the NCP chief has never minced his words as far as Rahul Gandhi's leadership abilities are concerned.
