Flap over flip-flops

Normally, the police announce rewards for information on absconding dacoits, hard-core criminals and goons. But in a strange and interesting case the Bhopal police have declared a reward of Rs 10,000 to anyone who can identify a pair of flip-flops barely worth Rs 100. Bills and posters with photographs of the flip-flops were plastered all over the area. Apparently, the flip-flops were found at a crime scene in suburban Bhopal where a local trader was robbed of Rs 15 lakh in broad daylight last month. The thieves had injured the trader by hitting him with an iron rod before they made off with his bag of cash.
