A senior official of a non-profit organisation that works on public interest issues was peeved as a letter inviting him to the Delhi Economics Conclave that was held on November 6 reached him a bit too late. The letter, dated October 22, was dispatched by Speed Post on October 26 with one crucial detail missing: the postal address was not mentioned on the envelope - it only had the intended recipient's name, designation and the name of the company, besides the location of the office, Jaipur. The city's postal authorities did manage to trace his address and deliver the letter, but of course, several days after the conclave was over.
