What do Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have in common? Well, both posted pictures of their meeting on Thursday on their respective timelines on Facebook, almost at the same time in the afternoon. Modi posted that he "Had a very fruitful meeting with Sheryl Sandberg" and went on to describe the suggestions he gave for greater interaction with the social media giant, including "how Facebook can be used to bring more tourists to India". Sandberg posted about "the opportunity to express my personal appreciation to him [Modi]". Earlier, Sandberg had been on record to say of all Modi's posts her favourite was, "The one where he asked for his mother's blessings. That's really touching. Hope my son or daughter does that one day". Modi is the second-most popular politician on Facebook after US President Barack Obama, with about 18.9 million "likes" against his name.
