As West Bengal goes into the sixth and last phase of Assembly elections, the chief contenders - the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the Left Front-Congress alliance - both declared they were confident of forming the next government.
While TMC leader Mukul Roy insisted, "I am relaxed", and added that everyone in the state knew "the chief minister is coming back to power", Surjya Kanta Mishra, Communist Party of India (Marxist) state secretary and leader of the Opposition in the Assembly, said West Bengal was finally going to witness "poribortan" (change).
