Nitish not welcome in Jharkhand

Business Standard New Delhi
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's decision to travel to Dhanbad in Jharkhand, in a week or so to rally support for prohibition has raised hackles in the neighbouring state. Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das dismissed his Bihar counterpart's prohibition call and advised him "to mind his own business".

"Our development role model is Gujarat, not Bihar," he added, possibly glossing over the fact that Gujarat was the first state to implement total prohibition in 1958. "If the Bihar government cares, it should first return Jharkhand's land maps," Das said. "(Former chief minister) Jitan Ram Manjhi promised to return the maps, but after Nitish Kumar came to power, he forgot."
