Rahul obsessed with BJP

Kashmiris came in hordes to listen to Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi at his rally at Anantnag last week. In fact, wearing Karakuli caps, both Rahul and Omar Abdullah almost looked alike as they flaunted their common Kashmiri lineage and sought votes for Maqbool Beigh, the National Conference candidate. However, Rahul’s repeated attacks on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) left the people puzzled. Was Rahul not supposed to attack the Peoples’ Democratic Party, which is a formidable force in the Anantnag Lok Sabha constituency? Did he read the wrong script or is he obsessed with the BJP? The people left the rally with all these queries on their minds.
