One person's body was
recovered while two others remained untraced in river Damodar in Burdwan district today.
Police said the body of Yadav Roy was fished out one and half km from the area where he along with four other friends had gone for bath at Panagarh ghat.
Yadav's friends Raja Roy (22) and Joydeep Ghose (23) were still untraced and divers were searching for them.
Besides the missing duo and Yadav, two other youths, all hailing from Budbud, were swept by high tides but swam ashore to safety.
