One person was killed and 15 were injured when the roof of an under-construction church building collpased here late tonight.
Three other persons were feared trapped under the debris, District Collector M Karunakaran, who is supervising the rescue operations by the Fire and Rescue Service personnel, said.
He said the body of Ebin, a construction labourer from Nagercoil, was pulled out from the debris.
