11 sheep die after consuming fertilizer-laced water

Eleven sheep died allegedly after consuming fertilizer-mixed water while grazing in a sugarcane field near here today.

Police said the sheep had consumed the water from a pool in the sugarcane farm using drip irrigation system.

Police suspect that the sheep could have taken fertilizer mixed water leading to the animals' death.
