Lorry knocks down three pilgrims

Three devotees, including a woman, were killed when they were hit by a lorry near Manaparai here today, police said.

The devotees were proceeding towards the Murugan temple at Palani.

The lorry driver could have hit them due to poor visibility caused by thick fog in the morning, police said.
