12 gamblers held in Tamil Nadu

Twelve persons were arrested here for allegedly indulging in gambling and Rs 4.75 lakh seized from them, police said.

Police raided a godown of a power loom factory, eight km from here, last night and found 13 persons engaged in gambling.

One person managed to escape while the rest were arrested, police said.

A car and five two-wheelers were seized from the spot, police added.
