Recognising their exemplary services, 16 Railway Protection Force (RPF)/Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF) personnel have been awarded with President's Police Medal and Indian Police Medal on Republic Day this year.
Three RPF personnel including Chief Security Commissioner (CSC) of Western Central Railway SC Sinha and CSC of North Frontier Railway Nirmal Singh have been awarded President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service.
Thirteen RPF personnel including Inspector GK Dash of East Coast Railway, Inspector CS Dwivedi of Western Central Railway have been given Indian Police Medal for Meritorious Service.
