Two boys drowned in a well
when they had gone for a swim after they were returning from the school, police said today.
The incident took place in Machavaram village near here in Guntur district last night when the deceased G Yesobu (11) and L Ramesh (13) had gone to swim in a well, an official at Ponnuru police station said.
The duo was residing at an orphan centre, he said, adding, their bodies were found this morning and a case has been registered in this connection.
