2 die in truck mishap

Two persons died when a

truck mowed down a paan shop at Raiganj in North Dinajpur district.

Police said, the truck rammed into ther paan shop on the side of NH 34 trapping the small time trader and a local youth stnading nearby.

While the 44-year old paan shop owner died on the spot, the 23-year youth uccumbed at hospital today.

Locals blocked the busy road for some time in protest agains the incident.
