2 held for possessing country made pistols

Two youths were arrested for allegedly possessing country made pistols from Bhusawal town in the district, police said today.

Acting on a tip-off, police yesterday laid a trap in the Sindhi colony area and seized two pistols from the accused identified as Vicky Sharma (22) and Roshan Sachdeo (28). Bhusawal Deputy SP Rohidas Pawar said.

A case under relevant sections of Arms Act has been registered and investigations are underway, the official said.

Meanwhile, the duo was today produced in a local court which granted them bail.
