2 held in connection with robberies

Two persons, wanted in connection with a series of robbery cases in Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad, were today arrested after which police claimed to have busted a gang of robbers active in the region.

Police said the duo, identified as Aash Mohammad, a resident of Meerut, and Aarif, a resident of Hapur, were apprehended arrested by the Modi Nagar police.

According to police, they got information that the two wanted robbers were coming towards Dayawati Public School this morning, laid a trap and arrested Aash and Aarif.

"Both the accused are wanted in several robbery cases. They used to rob people at night. Police are interrogating them about the hideouts of their accomplices who would be arrested soon," said a senior police said.
 

He also said police have recovered two computer disks and two pen drives from their possession.
