Six-year-old dies in Delhi school

A six-year-old student died in mysterious circumstances at a school here, police said Tuesday.

Chaitanya Sharma, a student of Class 2 at the school in east Delhi's Preet Vihar area, collapsed while playing at the school ground Monday afternoon.

He was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead, police said.

A panel of three doctors will conduct the post-mortem examination. His body has been preserved at a government hospital.

The student's family has alleged negligence on the part of the school management.
