2 killed as truck hits another goods carrier

Two persons were killed and as many injured today when a truck hit another goods carrier on Mumbai-Agra National Highway here, police said.

The incident took place near Queti village on the Mumbai- Agra highway, around 40 km away from here, when a truck rammed into a stationed goods carrier from behind, killing two of its occupants on the spot, Kishanganj police station in-charge, Nagendra Singh Bais said.

The deceased were identified as Dinesh (30) and Irfan (28). The injured were admitted to the government M Y hospital here, he said, adding they were replacing a wheel of their truck when the mishap occurred.
 

The stationed truck was on its way to Gujarat from Bhopal.

A case has been registered in this regard and further probe is on, police added.
