Two persons were killed and as many injured in separate road accidents in Pali district of Rajasthan, police said today.
The two youths killed last evening coincidentally had the same name and were of the same age, Sub-Inspector of Sanderao police station, Amra Ram said.
Dinesh Meena (24), a Dhola village resident, was killed when his motorcycle collided with another motorcycle near a toll booth, he said.
Rider of the other motorcycle fled from the scene, he said.
In a similar incident, another Dinesh Meena (24), a resident of Sena village, was killed and two others injured when a speeding truck hit them, Ram said.
They were on their way home from a marriage, he said, adding, the truck driver fled with the truck.
The bodies were handed over to their kin after post-mortem, he added.
