Elderly man commits suicide

An elderly man today allegedly committed suicide by jumping before a moving train in Pali district of Rajasthan, police said.

Mangilal, 65, a resident of Sabalpura area, jumped before a passenger train near Haripur railway crossing in Raipur-Marwar area, they said.

The body was handed over to family members after post mortem, the police said, adding that the matter was being investigated to ascertain the reasons behind the incident.
