Three persons were killed today and nearly 25 injured when a portion of ceiling of a party hall fell on them at a hotel on Tonk road here, police said.
The victims were attending a party when the incident occurred, SHO Jawahar circle police station Harishankar Sharma said.
"Three persons died while the injured were rushed to hospital," collector Siddharth Mahajan said.
Fifteen injured were admitted at a private hospital and ten were taken to a nearby government hospital, he said.
The SHO said that one of the deceased was identified as Kesar Dev Kotwal, in his late eighties.
