Three persons were killed in Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh in separate incidents related to rain and sandstorm in the last 24 hours.
Jantunissha (40), Ram Bhoolan Verma (45) and Abdul Majeed (55) were killed in different parts of the district in sandstorm and rain related mishaps yesterday, District Magistrate Ajay Kumar Upadhyaya said.
According to the MeT department, chief amount of rainfall recorded in cm was Moradabad 4, Gorakhpur, Maharajganj, Bahraich 3 each and Khalilabad 1.

The day temperatures rose appreciably at Allahabad division and changed little in the remaining divisions.
They were appreciably above normal in Allahabad division, above normal in Varanasi, Bahraich, Moradabad and Agra divisions and normal elsewhere.
Highest maximum temperature was 45.5 degrees Celsius recorded at Allahabad.
The MeT department said that weather would be dry over the state tomorrow.
