Four child labourers working in a leather belt manufacturing unit here were rescued by government authorities today.
"The children, all aged between 10-14 years, were rescued from the unit which is located in Rajvada area of the city," Child Protection Officer Bhagwandas Sahu told PTI.
He said the children were made to work for 14-18 hours a day.

The rescue operation was carried out by the Women and Child Welfare Department with the support of police.
Local NGO Child Line and Department of Labour also helped in the rescue.
Sahu said a case will be lodged against the owner of the unit under relevant Act.
