4 held, weapons recovered

Four men were arrested

today with weapons in their possession in Bihar's Vaishali district, a police officer said.

Acting on a tip-off, the police apprehended four - Ram Balak Singh, Mohan Kumar, Md. Parwez and Sanju Paswan - from Suresh Chowk and seized two country-made pistols, nine rounds of cartridge and a motorcycle from them, Superintendent of Police (SP) Chandrika Prasad said.

The four were planning to carry out a robbery, he said.

Raids were on to nab other accomplices of the arrested persons, the SP said.
