4 killed, 21 injured in two separate road accidents in HP

Four persons were killed and 21 others injured in two separate road accidents in today, police said.

The first incident took place when a car veered off the road and fell into a deep gorge near Valley in district this afternoon, they said.

All the four occupants of the car were killed, police added.

The police reached the spot on receiving information and retrieved the bodies with the help of local people, they said.

The deceased, which included a woman, were identified as Sarla Devi, Sohan Lal, and Tikkam Ram, all residents of Pachahali village near

Additional SP, Kullu, Nishchint Negi said the bodies were handed over to family members after post mortem.

In another incident, 21 persons were injured when a car collided with a Himachal (HRTC) bus near Machauti in the Rohroo area of this district, police said.

The injured persons were rushed to a hospital in Rohroo and all of them are stated to be out of danger, they said.
