Four teachers including the principal of an upgraded school in Bhandra block of Lohardaga district were today suspended after they were not found in the school during an inspection, officials said.
District Superintendent of Education, Prabala Khesh, suspended the Principal of Upgraded High School, Birpi, Navneet Gaud, and Assistant Teachers Bindeshwar Oraon, Shankar Oraon and Sheela Devi on the Directive of the Deputy Commissioner Bhunesh Pratap Singh.
The suspension was ordered after the principal and three teachers were found abstaining from school during an inspection of 'Vidyalay chale-chalayein' program by Urban Development Department Secretary Arun Kumar Singh, officials said.
