Body of a 40-year-old LIC agent was today recovered on Mumbai-Kota railway tracks here after he allegedly committed suicide by jumping before a train, police said today.
The mutilated body was recovered on the tracks today morning and the deceased has been identified as Rajaram Meena, a resident of Balapura village of Bundi district, Government Railway Police (GRP) head constable, Kota, Ummaid Singh said.
Prima facie it appears that the deceased likely jumped before a running train late last night, he said.

However, no suicide note was recovered from the victim's possession, he said, adding that he worked as an LIC agent.
According to his family members, Meena had left home for his routine work on Monday morning but did not return home that day. The kins also said that he had no family or other tension.
The family did not lodge any complaint report with the police, the head constable said, adding police is investigating the matter to ascertain if it was a case of suicide.
The body was handed over to the family after a post-mortem conducted today morning and a case has also been registered in this connection, police said.
