Five persons were killed and four others injured in sseparate mishaps in Rohtas and Khagaria districts of Bihar today.
Police said three bike-borne persons died in a collision between two motorcycles near Morkahi village under Morsahi police station area of Khagaria district.
Another one was injured in the collision and taken to local hospital.
Meanwhile two persons were killed when a speeding vehicle used for supplying milk lost control and rammed into a stationary pick up van in Rohtas district, Dinara police station in-charge Dharmendra Kumar said.
The duo were identified as Ram Narayan Singh (50) and Hareram Thakur (35), occupants of the ill-fated pick up van.
Three others sustained injuries in the mishap, he said.
