55-year-old Man killed in UP

A 55-year-old person was

allegedly killed by some unidentified person in Baghcha Ka Tola village in Haldi area here, police said today.

The incident took place yesterday night when Umashankar (55) was sleeping and some unidentified persons hit him with bricks killing him on the spot, they said.

The body of the victim has been sent for postmortem, police said.

Police is probing the matter and trying to ascertain the motive behind the killing.
