55-year-old man killed over land dispute

A 55-year-old man was today killed by four persons over a land dispute in Machrehta area of Sitapur, police sources said here.

Bhagwan Baksh Singh (55) was attacked by Brijesh Kumar Singh, Amrendra, Raj and Brij Bahadur at Bhithaura village.

He was rushed to a hospital, where he was declared brought dead, police said.

An investigation is on and police have launched a manhunt to nab the accused.
