Six foreigners have been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau here for allegedly possessing and peddling drugs.
Based on a tip-off, the NCB team along with police officials raided a house near Hennur Bande here and seized LSD (Lysergic acid diethylamide) blotter papers in commercial quantity and intermediate quantity of Ganja and Hashish, NCB said.
Among the arrested, four are from Nigeria, one from Ivory Coast and another person from Burundi, it said in a release.
Three of them were in India on student visa, two on Medical visa and another on business visa, it said, adding, the group was one of the major suppliers of the drugs in the city.
NCB said all the six accused have been booked under provisions of NDPS (Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act and remanded to judicial custody.
