Two men have been arrested by Narcotics Control Bureau and one kg of heroin has been seized from them.
The duo, hailing from the city, were arrested near central bus stand yesterday for dealing in narcotic drugs, NCB said in a release.
Under NDPS Act (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act), if the quantity of narcotics seized is commercial quantity, it attracts upto 20 years rigorous imprisonment and fine, the release said.
The value of the seized heroin was not mentioned.
