A bogie of Chhapra-bound train derailed, no one injured

A bogie of a Chhapra-bound passenger train today got derailed near Alaipur City station, a North-Eastern Railway official said.

No one was, however, injured in the accident, North-Eastern Railway Public Relation Officer Ashok Kumar said, adding that the train was going from Varanasi to Chhapra.

"The reason behind the accident is yet to be ascertained. A five-member committee has been constituted to probe the reason behind the accident," Kumar said.

"A medical team has been rushed to the spot," added Kumar.
