As much as 54.97 lakh metric tonnes (MT) of paddy have arrived in the mandis of Haryana so far, of which 42.39 lakh MT have been purchased by government procurement agencies.
About 19.36 lakh MT of paddy have been purchased by the Food and Supplies Department, 14.96 lakh MT by Hafed, 4.34 lakh MT by Haryana Agro-industries Corporation and 3.71 lakh MT by Haryana Warehousing Corporation, a spokesman of the Food and Supplies Department said here today.
