Three dead leopards found

Following the discovery of a dead leopard at Khandivav village near here three days ago, two dead leopard cubs were found at Panetha in Mangrol tehsil of Surat district yesterday.

The cubs were 7 to 8 months old.

Body of a two years old male leopard was found on a the state highway near Khandivav on Sunday. It seemed to have died after being hit by a vehicle, said H D Raolji, forest officer.

Jayesh Vasava, round forester at Vankal range, said the bodies of the two cubs found yesterday had signs of being hit by a stick-like object. Autopsy of the bodies would be conducted.
