An advocate and two sharp shooters were arrested today in Bihar's Munger district for allegedly murdering a woman about 4 months ago, police said.

Acting on a tip off, a police team raided a hide out in Sherpur locality and arrested advocate Pashupati Yadav and two sharp shooters - Rajiv Yadav and Ajit Yadav - for killing Sunaina Devi on April 11, Superintendent of Police Varun Kumar Sinha said.

Pashupati was given Rs 1 lakh by one Shankar Pandit to kill Devi. He later hired two sharp shooters for the purpose, Sinha said.

Devi was shot dead by the assailants in Safiabad soon after she came out of a court's premises. The duo were informed by the advocate about the movements of the victim, the senior police officer said.

Police have seized Yadav's passbook of the account in which he deposited the money taken for the crime, the SP said.

All three accused have been arrested and sent to jail, Sinha said.
