Two illegal minigun factories busted, four held

Two illegal mini-gun factories were busted today and four persons were arrested in this connection from a locality in Jamalpur police station area in Bihar's Munger district, a police officer said.

"Acting on a tip-off, the police raided two houses in Naya Bazar locality and busted two minigun factories," Superintendent of Police (SP) Varun Kumar Sinha said.

A haul of weapons comprising four automatic pistols, six magazines and 199 ammunitions were seized from the two places, he said.

Rohit Shahi, Sita Devi, Parmanand Prasad and Shambhu Saran were arrested on the charge of running the minigun factories, Sinha said.

A motorbike and three mobile phone sets have been seized from these people.
