AIADMK MLA Perumal passes away

C Perumal, AIADMK member representing Yercaud (ST) constituency in the Tamil Nadu Assembly, died at a private hospital today following cardiac arrest.

Perumal, 62, is survived by wife and four sons.

Perumal, an agriculturist, was earlier elected from the constituency in 1989 and 1991.
