Girl killed for honour

In a case of honour killing, a

girl was shot dead allegedly by her father and grandfather in Shakhin village when she returned home a month after eloping with her boyfriend.

18-year-old Sheebu was shot by her father Rahees and grandfather Jalees yesterday when she returned home after a month, police said today.

The parents of the girl were upset after she had eloped with her boyfriend last month.

Police have detained her father and grandfather.
