'Breaking Bad' star Anna Gunn will play the lead in spin-off of popular TV series 'Criminal Minds'.
The 46-year-old Emmy-winning actress will star opposite Gary Sinise in the CBS drama, reported Deadline.
The proposed spin-off will air as an episode of the mothership series this season. It is written by 'Criminal Minds' executive producer/showrunner Erica Messer.
The episode follows FBI agents helping American citizens who find themselves in trouble abroad, with Sinise, 59, playing their boss, Jack Garrett.
Gunn will play Ally Lambert, an international law expert and talented linguist. She is smart, capable and an indispensable part of the team that makes sure bad guys worldwide do not slip through international law.
The original show is currently in its 10th season.
