Jennifer Lopez and Jane Fonda-starrer romantic comedy 'Monster-In-Law' will be getting a small screen adaptation.

It will adapted into a multi-camera comedy series written by 'The Carrie Diaries' producer Amy B Harris and '30 Rock' producer John Riggi, reported Deadline.

The TV series will reportedly serve as a loose sequel to the movie. While the film explores the complex relationship between a woman and her soon-to-be mother-in-law, the TV series will revolve around a happy couple who faces the challenges of parenthood while the wife has to deal with the close bond between her husband and his mother.

Released in 2005, the original movie marked Fonda's first film in 15 years after 'Stanley & Iris'.
